tilt? | Poker Lifestyle

November 21, 2008, 5:20 pm. I just misclick folded the nuts by accident when there was 600$ in the pot. I don’t know what to do right now? I should feel tilted right? But I am not sure. I closed down all my tables… I went in for the snap call, but instead of clicking call, I somehow managed to hit fold on the very right edge of the call button. This is very annoying when you have the nuts with no more cards to come and your not running well. 3 Comments so far. December 8, 2008 @ 3:55 pm.

Common Sense Is Not So Common. Thursday, December 27, 2007. Never confuse motion with action. Pretty standard week for the most part. The 2/4 and 3/6 games on FTP have been pretty good the past two weeks or so. Even the TAGfish are probably donning a comfortable win rate in those games for the past couple weeks. Hands to follow. Full Tilt Poker, $3/$6 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players. Hero (SB): $764.80. Dealt to Hero (SB). UTG calls $6, CO folds, BTN calls $6, Hero raises to $38. 2 folds, BTN calls $32.

What time is it. October 17, 2008, 7:08 pm. 8220;What time is it? I’ve finally received all of my money from Mansion Poker and am in full throttle on PokerRoom. I am not sure I’ll continue playing there after I’ve cleared my initial bonus as there bonus system doesn’t seem very rewarding from what I’ve seen till date. I guess I’ll just have to wait and see what options I have after I’ve dealt with the current deposit bonus. I’ll be back with more information as subjects arise, later.

October 11, 2008, 7:52 pm. 2/4 was pretty brutal today, some how I managed to only lose 1k, but I felt like I was getting in a lot of cooler spots. This opponent was playing very loose with a VPIP of 85 over 100 hands. To me this is a clear value bet spot and you just have to suck up the variance of him making two pair randomly. Given his turn call i feel he might even sometimes manage to show up with a J here and call me down very light. I should really get to going now, good night. 1 Comment so far.

Common Sense Is Not So Common. Friday, August 27, 2010. The Prodigal Poker Player. If there's anyone out there who still checks in on this blog, my apologies for the hiatus. Figured I would update this thing. I've been meaning to do so for awhile. Where do I start? 8221; The answer was no, but I justified it because being with my friends would make it easier. Super senior? I guess I’d have to be “that guy.”. I wanted the job. Five rounds of interviews later, I got it. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Common Sense Is Not So Common: January 2008
http://joeydice.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Common Sense Is Not So Common. Sunday, January 27, 2008. As the stakes increase, the opponents get better. Great players are great hand readers. They are also good at deception. A great player thinks, "What range of hands am I representing? Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $6 BB (5 handed). Hero is UTG with Ac, Kd. Hero raises to $21. SB calls $18, 1 fold. SB is an excellent player with a very solid style. 48) 6c, 6h, Ah (2 players). SB checks, Hero checks. 48) 3d (2 players). 108) 7h (2 players). I have fun ...

Jeff's Blog - Poker, Life. Thursday, October 9, 2008. Some cool spots tonight. I only screamed 3 or 4 times this session, so I'd say it went pretty well. Here's some swongy hands. Hand 1: A situation i hate. Hand 2: Timing tells ftw. Hand 3: Love everything I did here. Hand 4: Tough spot. If this was 5/10 200bb I think the call is much easier. He probably views me as somewhat scared money at 5/10. At 3/6 though, I find it less likely he thinks this way. Hand 5: Mmmmm revenge :). Wednesday, October 8, 2008.

Jeff's Blog - Poker, Life: April 2008
http://jethro87.blogspot.com/2008_04_01_archive.html
Jeff's Blog - Poker, Life. Sunday, April 27, 2008. Inspired by a thread on 2p2 and dodgy's blog. What makes a great player? Why do some excel and some fail? What do I need to do to be a success in my eyes in poker? Sure, I can make decent money right now, but there's so much higher to get to. What do I think about my chances of 'making it'? 100%, if I work hard enough and smart enough. So do I want to be a success? Yes, but at what cost? What does it take to make it? I'm not arrogant to say money doesn't...
