The Horton Family: Still waiting, tests, and a job
http://hortonsgardenstroll.blogspot.com/2015/01/still-waiting-tests-and-job.html
January 29, 2015. Still waiting, tests, and a job. We are still waiting on the neurologist to contact us about Joel. STILL! I contact them daily now and all I hear is out of the office, I'm emailing the doctor right now, and they are reviewing the chart. Really? I took my final test for my provisional license in real estate last week! I had no clue before and was literally crying and mad at myself! God is so good. What a peace that comes with having Him in my life! I am now looking at jobs! We will see h...

The Horton Family: December 2011
http://hortonsgardenstroll.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
December 31, 2011. It is time to settle in and refresh. This house was built for either a couple or a couple with maybe 2 kids, not 8 people (soon to be 9). Until Thanksgiving of last year it was just 7 people (4 adults and 3 kids). Now it is still 4 adults but 2 kids and 2 teenagers and a baby on the way. Wow, it is a tight fit sometimes! I have thought about it for a couple weeks and decided to make this house all of ours. And we can love it! December 30, 2011. We had a great Christmas! I already had c...

The Horton Family: Time marches on
http://hortonsgardenstroll.blogspot.com/2015/01/time-marches-on.html
January 7, 2015. Several pages in our family book have turned in this past year. We have welcomed sweet Joel to the world. My mom has passed on. Maryjo is no longer living with us. I am going back to work. Hanni started back to public school. Things are changing fast. Amazingly they are changing for the good finally though! Praise God for his constant hand over our lives even when things look rough! January 13, 2015 at 1:45 PM. Kate, your blog is so cute! Im adding it to my sidebar so keep blogging!

http://hortonsgardenstroll.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
March 12, 2014. We had not made a big announcement, although I had told many friends, that I am pregnant. Well, last Thursday morning changed everything! Now I am on Very Strict Bedrest! It has not been easy but I am almost a week in and doing good I hope! It has been a blessing. I can do five months of this! It is so worth it! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. The Horton Family: July 2011
http://hortonsgardenstroll.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
July 24, 2011. I have to admit I am loving making jams and preserves! My first was cantaloupe preserves! I started them on Thursday evening and finished them on Friday night. It is a 24 hour process to make them but so worth it! I am so happy that Randy has opened my eyes to jelly making and canning. Although I am the one who pushed him into his first jelly he started with pickles and really liked the process (and the end result, of course)! They all look incredible! Wow wee what an adventure! Randy star...

The Horton Family: March 2012
http://hortonsgardenstroll.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
March 24, 2012. I have been feeling the itch to start canning for the year! I fell in love last year with the process. By the end of summer though, I was done! I knew that it was something I enjoyed though and want to continue to do each year. I am so excited for strawberries to come out. I have so many things I want to try with them including just plain freezing some. I ordered some vanilla beans online and am looking forward to using that in some of my recipes. Wow, vanilla is expensive! March 21, 2012.

The Horton Family: August 2011
http://hortonsgardenstroll.blogspot.com/2011_08_01_archive.html
August 7, 2011. Busy week in the kitchen! This week has been so busy in the kitchen! I have worked with canning peaches from this season. We usually go down to one of our favorite farmers markets to get our peaches and I got three bags this week. First, I had some left from last week to use though. I made a peach cobbler jam with those! It is actually in the crock pot now waiting to be jarred up! I had to taste it and it is incredible! And Praise God our A/C was back on that evening! Hanni did make cherr...
