Avoid disturbance near streams. See Riparian Areas Regulation FAQ’s. Keep your cat indoors or at least have him/her wear a bell. Check out Wild Birds Unlimited. They have an extensive range of merchandise to attract, and to protect nature in your backyard. Stick to park trails (dogs too) so vegetation is not disturbed.
