http://mcwhorterfamilyga.blogspot.com/2012/02/christmas-2011.html
A little peak at life with the McWhorter's. Tuesday, February 21, 2012. I've obviously not been keeping the blog up to date - other things are priority right now, and that is perfectly fine with me. I do, however, use this as a scrapbook of sorts, so I do want to update with pictures from Christmas! We spent the weekend before Christmas with my parents in SC. We got to spend time with extended family and had a wonderful time! This was our first Christmas without him and it just didn't seem right! We left...

The McWhorter Family: April 2011
http://mcwhorterfamilyga.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
A little peak at life with the McWhorter's. Monday, April 25, 2011. How deep the Father's love for us,. How vast beyond all measure. That He should give His only Son. To make a wretch His treasure. How great the pain of searing loss,. The Father turns His face away. As wounds which mar the chosen One,. Bring many sons to glory. Behold the Man upon a cross,. My sin upon His shoulders. Ashamed I hear my mocking voice,. Call out among the scoffers. It was my sin that held Him there. Until it was accomplished.

A little peak at life with the McWhorter's. Sunday, August 21, 2011. Back to School for Bear. On Monday, Bear started back to preschool after having the summer off! He's back at a local church preschool in a 5 day/week, 3 year old class! Bear's "Oh no, is it really time to go back to school" face. Then his "Just kidding - I am SOOO excited to go to school! And finally, my precious "Momma's sweet little boy" face. More first day silliness! We are 1 week in and Bear is loving every minute of school! The ca...

Christmas is my favorite season of the year, and I just cherish all the special memories we are able to make each year! We were busy, with most weekends (and a lot of weeknights) filled with activities.here's a sneak peak for how we got in the Christmas spirit! We had breakfast with Santa at the Cartersville. While Bear's only request was a Finn McMissile. We built ginge...

Gorgeous Giggling Grins: June 2015
http://gorgeousgigglinggrins.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
Stories from the Vance Family. Tuesday, June 16, 2015. What a month for C! There were lots of big changes this month. We have an official crawler. I held her off as long as I could.lol! She crawls on all fours, pushes with her left foot and goes forward (h crawled backwards at first). She can get anywhere she pleases, but is generally happy where we are. I have a feeling I'm in for it once she figures that out. She loves big sis and wants to keep up with her. C is getting two teeth! She wasn't the bigges...

Gorgeous Giggling Grins: December 2014
http://gorgeousgigglinggrins.blogspot.com/2014_12_01_archive.html
Stories from the Vance Family. Thursday, December 11, 2014. I love the month between thanksgiving and Christmas. It's so full of joy, activities, family and friends. We pack a lot into this month from decorating to baking and special events. It's so much fun! H hosts a gingerbread house decorating party each year. This year, we only invited folks from her preschool and ended up with 14 kids, 3 infants and 9 adults. It was so fun! Making the gingerbread dough. We did have to leave a bit early. My swee...

The McWhorter Family: October 2011
http://mcwhorterfamilyga.blogspot.com/2011_10_01_archive.html
A little peak at life with the McWhorter's. Saturday, October 29, 2011. Earlier in October, my parents came down for a long weekend visit over Fall Break! They had tons of fun entertaining Lily and Bear on Friday while Josh and I were at work! As a treat, we headed to North Georgia for a fun Saturday day trip. Our first stop was Hillcrest Orchards for some apple picking and farm fun! This was such a fun place to visit and we will definitely come back again next year! Welcome to Hillcrest Orchards. We dro...

The McWhorter Family: June 2011
http://mcwhorterfamilyga.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
A little peak at life with the McWhorter's. Tuesday, June 28, 2011. I never thought I'd be excited for a few boring days, but we had enough excitement in our house to last us for a while! Last Tuesday's haircut by Lily was followed up by our first ER visit on Wednesday! This pic isn't great, as it is from Josh's phone as they were leaving the hospital - I'll spare you the fingernail pics :). It was a nice way to reward him for being such a brave little boy over the last few days! Tuesday, June 21, 2011.

Bringing Up Blackwell: Blogging for Bobbi
http://bringingupblackwell.blogspot.com/2012/05/blogging-for-bobbi.html
Wednesday, May 2, 2012. The fall started out bumpy. I was so excited for CC's birthday and for Melissa's wedding. But then, Boone(our dog) was diagnosed with cancer, and I was so upset. I had no idea what the following months would hold for us, and looking back, I'm honestly a little shocked that we made it through as well as we did. We have our wonderful family and friends to thank for that. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Living Well Spending Less. Fly Through Our Window. Too Good To Be True.

Bringing Up Blackwell: Another Girl! (and other updates)
http://bringingupblackwell.blogspot.com/2014/03/another-girl-and-other-updates.html
Tuesday, March 25, 2014. Gracious, time just flies. I always mean to return to my blogging, only to realize months have passed between each of my visits here. My poor kids - I have turned into a horrible record taker. I haven't even begun Caroline's baby book, and she's closing in on the age of 4. I think that's why I like Instagram so much - a quick visual update of our daily life. Speaking of, we have such blessed news. We are about to have another girl! March 27, 2014 at 9:12 PM.
