Students will begin to learn the logic behind coding through a series of fun challenges. Thursday, March 20, 2014. Check out our new 3D Printer! We have an exciting new addition to our LS tech lab, a MakerBot Replicator 2, our very own 3D printer! Check out the video below to see it finish printing a nut and bolt that really will screw together. Stop by the lab sometime to see the printing in action. Pursuits is offering two 3D Design classes, March 25th and April 1st, where you can learn to use Tinkercad to create 3D designs that can be printed. A few slots are still available!

Wednesday, January 14, 2015. We had a special treat in 4th grade science class today! We were lucky to have the opportunity to view a Red-Tailed Hawk outside of our classroom today. It was perched in a tree eating a meal. We saw it using it's sharp bill to pull apart the flesh of its prey. We were guessing that its prey could be a small rodent such as a mouse, mole, or chipmunk. Later we saw another hawk circling overhead! The sight was most beautiful. Red-Tailed Hawk perched on a limb! I went on a walk ...
