Stories of our simple small town life. Larr; One month stats. August 10, 2015. Justin didn’t have to work, so we got a lot of daddy time and it was great :) It felt like our first “real life/normal” weekend since Bear has been here. I finally feel like myself again {after the c section and then a nasty cold that struck last week.} and we didn’t have any major plans! We got our back yard fenced in last week (Finally! It’s been something we’ve wanted to do since we built the house! Maddox loves the slide!

Stories of our simple small town life. Larr; One month already? Mills party of five. July 29, 2015. We’ve talked about using Bear as a nick name for Barrett since we picked the name, so I wanted to incorporate some bear things in his room. I didn’t want it to be over the top, or too theme-y though… I looked around on Pinterest and Etsy, decided on a few items and got to work :). One of the other things I made was this little bear. The yarn garland was a gift from my sister and I just love it! I wasn̵...

Stories of our simple small town life. Annnd he’s crawling…. November 18, 2014. Part of me kind of thought Hatcher might never crawl. I knew he could, but he clearly preferred scooting… Then all the sudden he started crawling exclusively… Everywhere! And he’s pretty fast! He’s been holding out on us…. Maddox was a “later” crawler at 8ish months, but I thought my second would be off earlier because he wanted to keep up with his big brother! To watch a little video of him on the move! Stories of our simple small town life. August 17, 2015. 8220;Oh my gosh it’s back again….” {sung in your best Backstreet Boys voice 😁}. But for real, football season has officially started again! I did my first game {scrimmage} with the three kids Friday, and it went surprisingly well… There are a few “kinks” in my system I need to work out, but I think it’s going to be a fun season. The older boys really enjoy being up at the school, and love watching daddy coach! Season 2: Maddox was 6-9months old.

Stories of our simple small town life. Larr; Mills party of five. July 25, 2015. We just got back from a week at the beach with Justin’s family and it was so much fun! Justin and I were pumped that Bear decided to come early so we could definitely go! We were so sad thinking about possibly having to miss the trip if B didn’t cooperate! The c section was kind of a curve ball, but it worked out well… There were a few times that I thought, “Am I really at the beach with my 2 week old? We had some pretty bad...

Stories of our simple small town life. Larr; Weekend fun. August 2, 2015. Time is so weird as a parent… It feels like days {and nights! Will never end some times! The monotony of the day to day tasks can be killer. Yet, at the same time, you turn around and your oldest is 3.5 and it’s like what the heck? That’s my experience at least. All that to say, the last month with Bear has flown by! Road trips to Atlanta for Gigi’s 60th birthday, and the beach for Mill’s family vacation! Here are a some {or a lot!

Stories of our simple small town life. September 4, 2014. Hatcher’s been on his new medicine for a week now. {Only one of the two that the doctor prescribed actually, because even after 3 trips to the dang pharmacy they STILL haven’t gotten the other one…} Either way though, he’s been doing so much better! Thanks again for all the calls, messages and prayers for our sweet Hatcher. It means more to us than you know 😊. Opal Dean's World. Fly Through Our Window. After She Said Yes. My life as lauren.

Stories of our simple small town life. Larr; Bear’s nursery. Mills party of five. July 27, 2015. I am borderline annoying about family photos (ask Justin! And with our kids as young as they are, along with the rate in which we keep having them, our photos are pretty quickly “out of date”. I was so excited to get some new photos at the beach with Bear in them! Some of these are repeats from the last post, but they’re good enough to share twice :). Thank you so so much Katelin!
