Wednesday, January 20, 2010. I swear I don't know how it is possible that according to the scale, I have gained 2.5lbs this week. It's extremely disheartening. I've stayed below 1200 calories for the past three weeks, I've exercised, at the very least 3 days a week for the past 3 weeks and yet the scale says I'm up 2.5 lbs. Thursday, January 21, 2010. I stepped on the scale this morning, down 2lbs! I'm wondering if I just fluctuate so much that I need to not weigh myself at all! Just continue with the low cal days and my exercise plan. I think that may be the way to go. It's too disheartening and could be ultimately detrimental to my progress to scale watch. So, I think I'll just stay off for a while and continue with my routine. And yesterday I didn't even clock watch through the running parts which was a huge step forward!

Wednesday, August 26, 2009. I really never thought I'd be writing a blog. I'm not a terrific writer and don't particularly enjoy it. Right now this is set up only as a sort of self-accounting of my weight loss struggle. If I'm able to keep up with this, enjoy it I may branch out, but right now. it's just an accounting system to try and stay on track on my weight loss journey. Right now my overall goal is 50lbs.
