After a week of 12 hour days at a hospital you begin to wonder if the advocate needs an advocate. That’s where tag teaming is very helpful. Thank goodness we were able to trade off and get some rest. Both Mom and I harbored fears that once Dad got home he wouldn’t want to go back to the assisted living center or his emotions would overtake him when he had to leave.
