Magic Moments - Adventures of Glen and Liz. Thursday, August 8, 2013. July 6 - Swanson Harbor. We docked in Swanson Harbor at a dock that is just anchored in the bay. Swanson is about 10 miles east of Glacier Bay. Glen took Debbie and Robert for a long dinghy ride to Hoonah to see if they would have the zip line open. Nope only open on days when the cruise ships come to town. So no need to go to Hoonah this year. Katie, the Jung's daughter picked a bunch of 'Beach Asparagus'. Miners Alaska Trip Blog.

Magic Moments - Adventures of Glen and Liz. Wednesday, August 27, 2008. Day 108 – August 26. It was a foggy cool morning with the tide out. The water is much calmer than last night. The guys, Gary, Glen, and Webster went out to check the crab pots … the crabs won yet another round. It’s somewhat nice to see that the Miner’s and Dodge’s are not the only ones lousy at this fishing stuff. We can now officially add the Cummings to our fish/crabless club. Glen and I stayed aboard Magic for a lazy morning.

It was partly sunny when I woke up this morning, but by the time Glen got up it was raining; not hard but raining none the less. We pulled anchor and headed out. Magic Moments - Adventures of Glen and Liz. Sunday, May 26, 2013. Anchored and stern tied at the end of the bay not too far from the dock. Not sure who was ready first but there seemed to be a mad dash for the hot springs. All but Liz went in for a dip (not feeling well with chest cold), but she was the photographer and lifeguard. Lifeguard is necessary to make sure that the beverage glasses stay full from the pitcher of Margarita's that went along. A seafood feast for sure. Geoduck chowder is great!
