Tuesday, August 24, 2010. So on with the show! Here's the wood that's going to be my Kramer Klone:. Yup, that's right, it's a 2x12, actual species unknown. This first attempt at a body is going to be for practice, and I don't have any illusions that it'll be professional quality, but it's my go at it. So, I don't really care if the wood is generally unsuitable for a guitar build. It's all about *my* technique at this point, not the wood itself. Stay tuned - more baby steps to follow in the next few days!

Tuesday, February 23, 2010. Resurrection Band aka Rez Band aka REZ. Okay This is the GREATEST rock band, EVER. Bar none. And sadly, few people have ever heard of them. Rez was hugely influential on me as a teenager. I wore my Rez and Steve Taylor tapes flat OUT. I will always owe my brother Sherman, who I miss dearly, a debt of gratitude for introducing me to this band. I love the line, "God made the color, but the color doesn't make you God.".
