Getaway has always been good,more so with the bunch of the usual good friends. This round - Singapore as destination. 1 day , I night - and by far quite pricey. Nah, not really for us looking at how weak our currency againts Sing Dollars. All said,its a beautiful country and I will definitely want to visit again :).

Friday, August 28, 2009. Been experiencing heavy downpours in Penang the last few days. Everything's wet and uncomfortable, and I had really hard times waking up every morning for work :) That said, I love the rain, I love the relief it brought, like as if its washing and cleansing the land. I love the wet smell, of it after. I love the drizzling sounds , or the torrential ones hitting on the roofs. Kinda make you feel cosy and relieved. So yea, I love the heavy pours :). Thursday, May 21, 2009. I attended 2 farewells recently. Both friends embarking a new journey from Penang to KL. Both are my uni and CF friends (though different campus) and we made a point to try to meet up with one another once in a while admist our busy own schedule. Monday, June 30, 2008. Almost a third of the day spent with work. 5 days a week. That leaves only the nights free.or it seems. And 2 days of weekends usually ends up very fast before Monday comes. I need a break. I need the brake. Last weekend, I had my sister coming up to Penang. As usual, I become the tour guide to a few familiar places in Penang. I don't think I am that good a tourist guide yet.but I am getting better with Penang places, I believe. Overloaded with too many activities. Not too good.
