Woodby Watch: Thankfulness
http://woodbywatch.blogspot.com/2008/11/thankfulness.html
Thursday, November 27, 2008. Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on all our blessings. As a teacher, every year I always read stories of the Pilgrims journey to America and I teach my students the Pilgrims story and how they struggled that first year and yet they stopped to give thanks for what they were blessed with. So today when our family gathers around a great big thanksgiving meal, despite the doom and gloom in our world today, I'll be thanking God for all the blessings He's given me. Austin, age 11.

Woodby Watch: Spring versus Winter
http://woodbywatch.blogspot.com/2009/04/spring-versus-winter.html
Tuesday, April 7, 2009. I was thinking the other day about the stark contrast between the seasons here in Ohio. And it got me thinking about the seasons of life.I know, I know, I'm getting philosophical. Now that I'm in my 40's. Hear me out. Spring time- time for new life, Summer- youthfulness, Autumn- Adulthood- Winter- Senior citizens and ultimately. The end our our cycle of life. With dignity, kindness and grace. Just like she lived her life! I remember seeing a bumper stickers years ago that said "Gr...

Gail and his Knights: Joys of a Father...
http://gtknights.blogspot.com/2008/11/joys-of-father.html
Gail and his Knights. Joys of a Father. Posted by Gail at Wednesday, November 19, 2008. I just finished the book Raising a Modern Day Knight. I got it for $5 including shipping) It’s a book for fathers about raising sons. It was good I’d give it a B overall. I like Reb Bradley’s book. Anyway the premise of the book is how fathers can truly teach their sons to be men. The main idea is a Man needs to reject passivity, accept responsibility, lead courageously, and expect the greater reward (Joy). Long after...

Gail and his Knights. Why I am Not a Socialist and you shouldn’t be either! Posted by Gail at Friday, November 07, 2008. By Pastor Dan Ferrell www.msbc.com. She continued “Socialism is very close to Fascism and it will Destroy America! Allow me to share ten reasons why I am NOT a Socialist. Socialism disguises itself to level the economical playing field, but in reality, the middle and lower income brackets are penalized when the wealthy are overtaxed. Gail and his Knights. Posted by Gail at Tuesday, June 14, 2005. I got up today and went out to start my car at 5:50 AM and as I backed out of my driveway I noticed that my passenger side rear "quarter window" was broken! My car was broken into once before. About 13 years ago, Different House. Wonder whatever happened to those Gym Shoes and my Penn State SweatShirt! I'll spare you those details.)I looked around for a rock or some other object that may. Gail and his Knights: It's Not About Insurance; It's About Surrendering Liberty!

Gail and his Knights. It's Not About Insurance; It's About Surrendering Liberty! Posted by Gail at Sunday, December 20, 2009. This is very long but worth the Read if you care at all about the freedoms we are losing everyday! I'm making an unusual request. Naturally, you may grant or ignore it, but I must ask. Will it reach the Senators? That will be in God's hands; humanly speaking probably not. Will it change any of their votes? See the previous answer. Is it a waste of time? Now, for my request.
