The first thing we did was to mix flour, salt, baking soda, and baking powder together to form our dry ingredients. After the dry ingredients were sifted, we mashed together the bananas. This is a must do recipe because it’s so good! 4 1/2 cups milk. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 teaspoon coconut extract (we didn’t have coconut extract, so we sprinkled coconut all over the bottom of our pan. 1 dash ground nutmeg (we used cinnamon). Life in San Gerardo. Friday, March 23, 2012. This week we made a delicious roasted broccoli with smashed garlic. These two vegetables go great together to make a delicious combo! This is a great side dish with grilled food like steak or chicken. Roasted Broccoli with Smashed Garlic. 8226; 1 1/2 lbs broccoli florets, cut long with part of stem. 8226; 6 cloves garlic, smashed. 8226; 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil. 8226; kosher salt and fresh pepper. Broccoli is browned and tender. 3 cups quick-cooking oats.

Life in San Gerardo. Monday, March 28, 2011. These recent weeks I have been thinking about wanting a camcorder for my birthday. I would like to start filming videos about all of our things we have built in San Gerardo. Another great thing I would use my camera for is when my dad and I go camping, and I could record all of the nature and wildlife. Life in San Gerardo. Tuesday, December 6, 2011. We have discovered one of the best biscuit recipes we have ever had. Our first step was to mix together 2 cups of flour, 1 T. of baking powder, 1 tsp of salt, and 1 T. of white sugar. Then we cut in 1/3 cup of butter until it resembled coarse meal. After all that is mixed, we added a cup of milk gradually until the dough pulled away from the sides of the bowl. Then came the fun part. We had to knead the dough on a floured surfaced 15 to 20 times.
