It has taken nearly ten years, but the novel I envisioned writing after visiting South Korea with my mother is complete. I know it is only the first draft and that I have much more work to do, but at this moment, on this day, I feel at peace with myself, finally. Is it weird that I want to cry? The universe whispers, although I also hear the violins.) The coming weeks and months will be reading, re-reading, editing, and fixing, but tonight - I'm celebrating! Links to this post.
