Babee接連病了兩個多星期. 起先是感冒發燒, 看了西醫, 吃了西藥, 發燒的狀況還是時好時壞. 自從做人媽媽以來, 對中國醫術略知皮毛, 知道babee的病是由於內熱所致, 而西藥極燥熱, 再吃下去想來病情也不會好轉, 於是在網上找到了可以用中藥開藥粉而不用煎藥的浸會大學附屬的中醫診所, 打了一個多鐘頭的電話, 才預約到看小兒專科. 醫師是個四, 五十歲如教授般的女士, 她診斷的結果, 果然不出我所料, babee是內熱感冒. 沒有辦法之下, 惟有叫babi用力的抱著她而我在旁用針筒把藥硬灌下去. 看著babee邊掙扎邊大哭邊用求救的眼神看著我, 為母的心也痛得揪住了. 可是苦口良藥, 她只有吃了藥才可以好, 我惟有忍著不看她的眼睛繼續把藥灌下去. 其實內心當時是很掙扎的. 因為我最不喜歡父母們總是以"我是為你好"而強迫子女做他們不想做的事情. 可是, 我跟自己說, 這是身體攸關, 是不同的. 可是. 真的是不同嗎?
