Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Last Friday we had our Teachers vs Students basketball game. It was really fun! I thought it was all just for fun, but it got pretty intense! One of the teachers got a technical in the FIRST QUARTER! It was pretty funny, actually. The ref was making some pretty crappy calls and the teacher freaked out. I was dying laughing! Sunday, July 18, 2010. 2 This life is a time for us to prepare to meet our God. Our learning and progressing should never stop in this life, and we should always seek opportunities to gain knowledge and understanding. I was reminded of things that I already knew, but had perhaps forgotten. 3 I have always known that we are children of God, but I was so impressed with the lessons given on being His daughter, and what that really means. We may not have it all, but we do have each other. Friday, November 26, 2010. We had an amazing Thanksgiving this year. We went to Wayne's brothers house this year and had a great time. The kids made a cute turkey craft while the adults got lunch ready. The food was amazing and it was great to be with Wayne's family. After lunch we played games and visited. We may not have it all, but we do have each other. Tuesday, October 25, 2011. Deer hunting down in Holden has become quite the tradition for our family. Everyone gets trailers and we park in this huge circle so the kids can play. The hunters hunt in the mornings and evenings and the rest of the time we play games and eat all sorts of yummy food. We may not have it all, but we do have each other. Saturday, May 21, 2011. Seriously where has this school year gone? It just seems like yesterday that they started school and now it's coming to an end. Tanna and Koda have had the best teacher this year and has taught them so much! She has also been so sweet to both of them and helping them to become great students. We are going to miss her like crazy! We may not have it all, but we do have each other. Wednesday, July 27, 2011. Beaver Mountains and 24th of July. Thursday, July 7, 2011. We have tried to do a lot more camping in the summers and we were invited by the Brown family to go up for the 4th of July. We went to Payson lakes and had a great time fishing, playing softball in the grass, going on hikes and being with family. Saturday, July 2, 2011. It was a fun season and we are just grateful that no one got hurt on our watch! Dustin and Lisa Simons.
