http://beulahviola.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Sunday, August 24, 2008. If you aren't familiar, it's a magazine focusing on DIY home improvements/decorating. I bought an old issue and found a picture of a table I liked. I decided to redo a table of my own with a similar feel to that table. This is what I made. So, if you read Ready-Made, make sure to check the re-ply section in the next issue. My table just might be in it. Links to this post. Friday, August 22, 2008. Careful What You Ask For. Cause you just might get it. I did make the pillow. All th...

Beulah Viola: My Patio: Before and After
http://beulahviola.blogspot.com/2009/02/my-patio-before-and-after.html
Saturday, February 7, 2009. My Patio: Before and After. So it all started with a chair that was a hand me down of my boyfriends. A friend of a friend of a friend painted it, so we didn't want to just trash it. But it was definitely unusable. So I put my crafty brain to work. The legs were still good. And the slats of wood in the seat were still good. So, my brother and I went to work and fit the stool top to the legs and reupholstered it. We used the slats from the seat and made a frame. I sing on Myspace.

http://beulahviola.blogspot.com/2008/10/austin-city-limits-festival-2008.html
Friday, October 3, 2008. Austin City Limits Festival 2008. This is the little bit of ACL that I got to experience. I was only there on Friday but it was enough for me. I got to meet a few people. I got to see a few shows. And I got really dirty. Here is ACL through my eyes. First I worked for a few hours at the Waterloo Records tent. I met Jamie Lidell. I met Donavon Frankenreiter. And I met Patty Griffin. Then I hoofed it over to watch G Love and Special Sauce. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

http://babycanacorn.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 19, 2010. Can you believe it? You are one year and one month old! We're totally rocking out your second year on the planet. pretty cool, huh? You have been changing soooo very much in the past couple weeks. For one thing, I think your head has gotten bigger - it's very difficult to get your shirt over your head nowadays. We celebrated the Fourth of July at home with your BFF Clover, Auntie Vic, and Uncle Dave. We started the day watching the Nathan's Famous Hot Dog eating contest (also k...

What Have We Done?: May 2010
http://babycanacorn.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 19, 2010. You're 11 months old already? How did that happen? Better question. when did you stop looking like a little baby and start looking like a little boy? Your Mother's tender heart would like to know because she just can't take it. Where'd my baby go? Here you are helping Daddy do the dishes. You are so completely your Father's son - you LOVE watching Daddy do the dishes - you cry when I take you away to go and play. Your Auntie Regina came for a visit last weekend - we had much fun!

http://babycanacorn.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 26, 2011. 19 months, huh? I am, once again, a little bit late getting to the blog this month, so, yet another bit of catching up to do. how's about we do it with a handy dandy photo montage? Your Grandpa and Granny Sandy came to visit a week or so before Christmas. None of y'all would look at the camera, so, here is a study in profiles. I'm so curious to know what you're thinking in this pic - you look so serious. Santa was very kind to you (and me) - bringing you lots and lots of toys...

Beulah Viola: September 2008
http://beulahviola.blogspot.com/2008_09_01_archive.html
Wednesday, September 17, 2008. Today after work, I came home and picked up Bobby to go to the grocery store. We stopped at Sonic on our way to get some dinner. After we ate, we started to pull out across traffic to take a left and BANG! There was a guy coming down the turn lane. He didn't see me. I didn't see him. Here are the results. The police and fire departments decided to make an appearance. We were lucky, no one was hurt and my car was still drivable. The other guy had to get his towed.
