Sunday, October 3, 2010. We are so ready for October and to start celebrating the season of spooky fun! Our goal was to get most of the hall o ween decorations up this first weekend and start setting out the fun! I found decorations I've loved and lost since 2007! What a great time it was to find these again! Our pirate yard is still needing some more items, but the best is yet to be.Michael has to create it and then I will add the pictures, ,I can't wait! I hope you will scream with delight!

Today was so beautiful here in the Pacific Northwest, specifically, Clark County, so my daughter, Jessica, her husband Matt, their little Jaxyn, and my other two granddaughters Aaryn and Ashlynn went for a little trip to a local pumpkin patch, Joe's Place! They are quite the scary crew! It was quite a challenge to survey the pumpkin selection! Then the girls went exploring in the hay fort. I remember making those in our barn when I was little! Some things are timeless!

Thursday, September 1, 2011. A little vacation time. We got a few days off last week and we traveled 1000 miles in 4 days a lot of drive time! But we did get out and go on a few hikes in the northern redwoods and along coast hyway 101, which were two things Michael has wanted to do for a long time now. we only have this one vaca a year so we had to squeeze alot into it! Wednesday, May 27, 2009. I just got this eco felt and love the selection of colors! So cute and I don't know where to begin but I better figure it out soon! It is so easy to work with! It doesn't fray or slide around when you layer pieces together, it's washable and you can glue or stitch it. how terrific is that! Monday, November 1, 2010. Happy Halloween to one and All! Oh what a fantastic Halloween we all had! Jayena hosted a great Halloween party,. Kids and parents all enjoying the evening. 40 people were there, and all in costume! Now that's an accomplishment, since Jay's been trying to get people to do that for a few years now! Monday, August 15, 2011. This weekend we went to a sweet wedding. And Ashlynn was the flowergirl. It was alot of fun and the girls had a blast! I think they thought the celebration was all about them. Then to see aaryn, the oldest granddaughter, with my girls, made me see how fast the years go by and to cherish each day.
