We saw the vendors on the street and the funny way the buildings and houses were packed in like sardines. We also got to visit a few pyramids while we were there. And Kendra is enjoying gymnastics, piano, and choir. Actually all of us girls are in choir together. It is a highlight in our week. We are so blessed to have the choral opportunity that we have. Sunday, October 30, 2011. Prayers are no laughing matter. or are they? Do you think God chuckles just a little. When He hears His little lambs pray? The kids love to say prayers. I haven't yet taught them about praise in their prayers, as I never think of it until they have begun praying and at that moment, I don't want to correct them. Their prayers are full of requests. Mike and I can't help but laugh as the twins pray because it is always exactly the same and yet so different. It makes me wonder.

Wednesday, October 17, 2012. Smoke on the Water. Fire in the Sky. Several weeks ago, on September 8th, a thunderstorm caused many fires. At one point I heard about 80 fires started across eastern Washington. And more came in the days to follow. The Wenatchee Valley filled with smoke and soon we. Found our day to day normal being numbers. Small talk. Was about the air quality levels and we all became. Versed in what the levels mean. It was an eerie "normal". As it lasted over a month. She found my phone right away, was quick to scoop up Chelsey and take care of her, she even packed a couple of bags in case we all had to go in the ambulance together.
