http://dragonskein.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html
The Life and Sometimes Of A Dragon, and Her Knitting. Friday, 30 May 2014. Just lately, I have been reading Terri Windling's blog, Myth and Moor. It has reminded me how I am drawn to the Fey, the Myth of which our Islands are full. We are all fortunate to have such beauty within reach. The rain, which has been so constant recently, and we complain of so bitterly, is one of the major reasons the land is so green. Thursday, 29 May 2014. Friday, 23 May 2014. Friday, 16 May 2014. The Life and Sometimes Of A Dragon, and Her Knitting. Tuesday, 6 January 2015. Jars and knitting theory. Who is a great chutney maker, and has run out of jars. It all fits together nicely, though, and helps propel me towards my goal of emptying the garage in 2015! There is so much ' stuff' stored in there, and it's been there too long. I really must remember to replace the spices I threw out. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Jenny Dean's Wild Colour. Catherine Hyde, Artist. Jackie Morris, Artist.

Dragonskein: More treasures
http://dragonskein.blogspot.com/2015/01/more-treasures.html
The Life and Sometimes Of A Dragon, and Her Knitting. Monday, 5 January 2015. Finding a few early blossoms in the garden is so heartening, so I almost did a little skip this morning. The flowers that are blooming today are different to the ones I discussed the other day. Three snowdrops ( Galanthus nivalis) have pushed brave little heads above the parapet of nettles. The earliest I have had them, here. 65279; I was more than a little surprised to find this hellebore ( Helleborus niger ) in flower.

http://dragonskein.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
The Life and Sometimes Of A Dragon, and Her Knitting. Friday, 31 October 2014. Among the many vegetables that grew madly this summer, were these pumpkins. Which I had to do something with, as we don't eat them! Although we do eat a lot of Squashes.) I was quite pleased with how my carving turned out. The clocks going back to British Meantime has meant the nights drawing in earlier. The leaves falling from the trees remind us that we are falling into Winter. Thursday, 30 October 2014. Another project that ...
