Lizzy House Mini Quilt Swap | Lucymade
https://lucymade.wordpress.com/2015/07/02/lizzy-house-mini-quilt-swap
July 2, 2015. Lizzy House Mini Quilt Swap. This spring, I participated in my first Instagram mini swap. I’d seen these but none of them really called to me until the Lizzy House Mini Quilt Swap ( #lizzyhouseminiquiltswap. You know I’m a big Lizzy House fan; my very first quilt was made from her Outfoxed line and I’ve been following her designs ever since. Here’s the finished top:. Thanks Sarah and Joanna for a great swap! Click to email (Opens in new window). Click to share on Google (Opens in new window).
Finished Neptune! | Lucymade
https://lucymade.wordpress.com/2014/03/25/finished-neptune
March 25, 2014. Neptune is finished finished finished! I’m so very pleased with this quilt. I’ve seen my sewing skills improve over the course of making it – things like accurate piecing, matching points and corners, and general confidence. Every time I get in bed, the corner flips back to reveal the happy frolicking kitties on the Lizzy House fabric, and I smile. I think it is very important to smile before you go to bed; this kitty fabric was therefore a very wise decision. Size: 72″ 90″. I’m so ...

More Chuppah and Meadow | Lucymade
https://lucymade.wordpress.com/2015/06/15/more-chuppah-and-meadow
June 15, 2015. More Chuppah and Meadow. You guys, this second trimester stuff is great. The nausea is gone, I’m able to stay awake past Jeopardy, people give me seats on the train, and I barely dry heave at all! And best of all, the making-stuff mojo is in full swing, in order to finish a great pile of stuff before my life is turned upside down by the arrival of a small, tremendously dependent human. All that means that I have a lot of stuff nearing completion that I get to show off. I’m really tha...

April 22, 2015. The chuppah has loops at each corner for attachment to the chuppah poles during the ceremony; I sewed them firmly but you never know. It seemed to do OK hanging on the fence like this, but I’m not sure what will happen if there’s a stiff breeze on the day. I’m sure it will be fine! Linking from Instagram because I’m lazy. It is Wednesday, so I’m linking up with WIP Wednesday. Click to email (Opens in new window). Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window). April 22, 2015 at 5:01 pm.

Harmless Color: Camping in Arkansas
http://harmlesscolor.blogspot.com/2012/08/camping-in-arkansas.html
Sunday, August 12, 2012. Remember how I wanted to get some time outdoors? Well, on a weekend between our other travels, Nathanael and I decided to take a 6 hour trek to Arkansas to camp at Crater of Diamonds State Park, somewhere we had been really wanting to visit. But I can't tell you about the diamond hunting in this post. Not yet. That portion of the trip will have to wait, because this post is going to have too many pictures of camping to make room for any of the others. The tent popped up,. Nathana...
Triangle Madness
http://www.theresathread.com/triangle-madness
There's A Thread. A lifestyle and craft blog. I’m feeling a little shy after not posting for such a long time. Turns out I needed to disconnect for a little longer than I thought! I pondered different ways of re-entering the blogosphere, including an epic catch-up post, but my plan is to do one work-in-progress and one finished object post a week and see how that goes. As you can imagine, I have quite a stack of finished quilts to show you! Leaving out only the purples. I extracted the RGB informatio...

A Block Review // Mini Dollhouse – 3and3quarters
https://3and3quarters.net/2015/05/12/a-block-review-mini-dollhouse
A Modern Quilting Blog…. A Block Review / Mini Dollhouse. May 12, 2015. The other day, I was looking for a challenge… A block, that I’ve never before constructed, was a bit cutesy in design and was a possible candidate for a future block tutorial. So when a challenge is needed, I go straight for my trusty, most favouritist, well spoken about quilting book – 130 Mini Quilt Blocks by Susan Briscoe. In there was this block:. House on the Prairie. So here is my honest review of the. When I began piecing, I f...
