Thursday, March 19, 2009. My good friend Dawson lives and works in Shanghai, so I headed out to visit him last semester, delighting in us living on the same continent for the first time in years. http://benandnik.blogspot.com/2009/10/michigan-lake-house-labor-day-weekend.html
Nicole Blair and Benjamin Luke. Tuesday, September 08, 2009. Michigan Lake House - Labor Day Weekend. Labor Day weekend we spent a few days with some of our best friends at a lake house in Michigan. We want to try to make it a tradition. It was one of the most relaxing weekends I've had in a very long time. Ben and Aaron fished nonstop, while Emily and I relaxed at the pool. Vicki and Chris came in a day later and joined in on the fun. Can't wait for next year! We'll have a little one with us then!

Nicole Blair and Benjamin Luke. Thursday, August 21, 2008. My friend, Stephanie, came up with a great idea for a party! September 6th is Ladies Day at the horse races at Arlington Park. So, we got a few of our gal pals together for a hat decorating party and made derby hats that we can wear to the races. Steph and I bought all the hats and flowers to have them ready for the party. We made quite a bit of food, too, including these horse racing cupcakes. And these delicious tomato appetizers. Now I have to...

http://benandnik.blogspot.com/2009/08/mom-dad-visit-chicago-air-water-show.html
Nicole Blair and Benjamin Luke. Sunday, August 16, 2009. Mom and Dad Visit - Chicago Air and Water Show. For Rachelle's birthday, she got plane tickets to visit our other sister, Angie, in Colorado for the weekend. Her flight was scheduled to fly out of Chicago, so my parents drove her down, stayed with us for the weekend, then picked her up today and left to go back home to Michigan. And followed with a fire in our fire-pit and roasted up some s'mores. Thanks for visiting mom and dad!

Saturday, October 2, 2010. Happy Birthday, China! It’s been 61 years since Chairman Mao proclaimed this the. People’s Republic of China! Yesterday marked the 61. It’s one of nature’s many magnificent displays. And even the two leaves on the tree outside my apartment that had changed color last week – then the two became a smattering and my soul rejoiced. But for now I have to keep on working to make this the best Fall in Wuhan yet! Pot-luck meal to celebrate the beginning of Autumn. Plus there are fun Fa...

http://dpyeatt.blogspot.com/2010_05_01_archive.html
Singing a New Song. Tuesday, May 18, 2010. LOST: What It All Means. It's taken me 119 out of the 121.5 hours of the show, but I've finally figured all of Lost. Above all, that's what I'm going to miss most about Lost. When it ends Sunday night. I'm going to miss the characters, and the twists and turns of the plot, and how it always keeps me guessing, and the producers' podcasts, and the emotion, drama, and fun of Lost. And in "The End" (pun intended), I think that's what Lost. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Thank God it's a brand new day! Monday, October 5, 2009. What a gorgeous day! Just wanted to drop in with a little update. Just got home a few minutes ago. I've had an awesome day today! First, around 12 o'clock, I went walking with my sis-in-law Angie and my neicy poo Carrigan. We walked the green belt and it was absolutely perfect weather! Breezy and 72. I think we ended up walking around 2.7 miles today! It was wonderful walking around and enjoying God's beautiful creations! Shake What Ya Mama Gave You.
