Adorable Amy: February 2007
http://amyjoupdate.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
Monday, February 12, 2007. It's taken me a week or so to get this posted. I thought I had a few minutes of free time this morning, but lo and behold, who's starting to cry right this second? Okay Problem solved. And now for the update! At Amy's 4 month check-up, she weighed 13.5 pounds and was 25 inches long. The doctor said we could start her on a little rice cereal. So we did. Rice cereal tastes about as good as it looks- pasty and nondescript. Amy is duly unimpressed. Posted by Gina @ 7:44 AM.

Friday, November 17, 2006. A Little Bit of Cuteness. Posted by Gina @ 7:58 AM. Tuesday, November 14, 2006. We dressed Amy up this year in a darling little costume we got at Wal-Mart 2 weeks after Halloween last year. We paid a whopping $1.00 for some little person (we didn't know who at the time) to be a peapod. It kept her toasty warm too- it was down to 32 degrees by 6 pm on the 31st. More to come, I promise! Posted by Gina @ 11:18 AM. Friday, January 19, 2007. It's Been So Long! It has been way too long since I've updated the blogs. First came Christmas, then the New Year, and then we crashed and burned with major colds this last week. Poor Lucy got the worst of it, but you can read all about it over at her blog. Adorable Amy: April 2007
http://amyjoupdate.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Wednesday, April 18, 2007. Amy had her visit with the doctor this morning, and I'm pleased to say that she has been deemed "a very healthy baby". I understand that to mean that she passed her "Well Child Exam". As of 9:42 AM she weighs 16 pounds, and is 26.5 inches long. As far as the 5 immunizations go (HepB, DTaP, IPV, Hib, and PCV), the Hepatitis B, the Diptheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, and the Polio vaccines are now available in a combined vaccine called Pediarix. I say it's high time she gets a job.

A Happy Soul: February 2015

If you want to be happy, be. -Leo Tolstoy. Saturday, February 28, 2015. This is me complaining and wallowing.and it's not pretty. Beware, readers. I read about parents (and I have family members) who take their kids on dates every month. I rarely take my girls out just by themselves; my girls don't have daddy-daughter dates. There just isn't the time, and it fills me with incredible guilt and feelings of inadequacy as a parent. I missed seeing you guys last week at church! This has had me thinking that I.

If you want to be happy, be. -Leo Tolstoy. Sunday, November 9, 2014. On Saturday (yesterday), we took the girls to Wards Lake Park to play, and ended up walking the trails there, and had an impromptu fall photo session. It was a beautiful day. The sun was shining, we could see the blue sky, and we made two new friends. You'll meet them in the photos below. First, here's some of the beautiful scenery:. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). If you want to be happy, be. -Leo Tolstoy. Saturday, December 27, 2014. Today was our 12th wedding anniversary. We spent part of the day on Bainbridge Island. Nothing spectacular about the trip, but we enjoyed the drive (which did not include, "Are we there yet? Thanks to Granmom and Grampa Ellis who kept the girls for us today), ate some food, saw some art, and generally had a good time. Here are a few photos from today:. Our dessert crepe.strawberries, bananas, and Nutella. It was DELICIOUS.

A Happy Soul: Lucy Quotes
https://ellisrambler.blogspot.com/p/lucy.html
If you want to be happy, be. -Leo Tolstoy. June 7, 2011. Me (at 7:30): Girls, it's time to get up for school. Lucy: Mom, I don't want to go today. I just need a break. Me: Okay. Back at it tomorrow? Fast forward to 8:20. Me (on the phone to Lucy's teacher and the attendance secretary): Lucy won't be in school today. She's just not feeling her best. She'll be back tomorrow. Me (hang up the phone): [repeat what teacher said]. Lucy (running up the stairs): I changed my mind! I'm going to school!
