This is what happened. All light that splits. Control - a microscope on a bigger topic. In Berlin, Germany, May 1st and Cagliari, Sardinia, May 19th 2014. I divided up the space while improvising with 30 questions about control as I divided up the space I crossed over a pile of sand. As I met audience members I asked them: “Can I ask you a few questions about control? Rdquo; Then I asked them to follow me as I divided up the space with red parcel ribbon. Some example of the 30 questions I ask are:.

This is what happened. All light that splits. The performance that sparked the event series. Reflektor is a performance that examines the human desire to be witnessed and recognise ourselves mirrored by others. To explore the relationship between, our interaction with environment and how this influences identity. In the piece the different components form them selves in reaction to each other in a similar way people do in society. In collaboration with Stella Veloce.

Visual - Katie Lee Dunbar

This is what happened. All light that splits. Time and Tide (waits for no man). Music by Stella Veloce. An installation with five films on five separate screens on loop with one audio played separately of memories connected to the places shown. The viewer is left with fragments of the audio and imagery to piece together not too dissimilar to the way we remember. This installation leaves one questioning the relationship between the mechanical and the human. See example of how the piece was shown above.

The World in Conversation. Creating meaningful connections between travelers and local communities. What is Same Moon? When thinking of a potential Thesis Project, there are a million possibilities. Choosing any one direction, such as travel, immediately shuts the door on other important topics such as employment, global warming, education, obesity, literacy, hunger, innovation, sustainability, or a myriad other important causes. Why did I consider this an important enough topic to choose over all others?
