These are most likely to start death zones.Zooplanktons graze on the phytoplankton keeping the number down, however if too much of it is made the planktons won't be able to keep up. As phyto...

Ajdas Awesome Science Blog. Wednesday, May 9, 2012. Waves It is a simple idea but once you get into it, well there it becomes COMPLICATED. In class we did a lab about waves, how they respond and how they affect different obstacles on water. After the lab we did an online simulation and tried different things with it. I did 3 examples of different waves, so here it is. Data Analysis: What patterns of relationships to you see in your data table/ shetches/ images? Can you answer the guiding question now?

Now for a very long time people has been searching for other planets with life on then Earth. Did we finally find one? The scientists also know that the humans will not be visiting the planet so soon. It would take a bit more then 200 years for a human spaceship to travel there! Tuesday, October 5, 2010. When man took his first step on the moon, it was a great accomplishment. Why did they do this? Because of the Space Race against Russia, the research, and the accomplishment. Was this trip costing thousands of dollars, risking several lives and all to go to a giant satellite made of rock floating around the Earth? Wednesday, April 4, 2012. I thought the post on D....

Ajdas Awesome Science Blog. Sunday, June 3, 2012. Warning Systems of Hurricanes. Warning Systems of Hurricanes. When you think of a hurricane do you think of a spiral galaxy? Well, I do but when you get further into it you realize the difference between the two. A hurricane is a type of a tropical cyclone. A typical hurricane would occur not alone but would be accompanied by thunderstorms, and in the Northern Hemisphere, a counterclockwise circulation of winds near the earth's surface. A continuous evapo...

Monday, April 9, 2012. Costs of Space Exploration. Space, the final frontier. We have searched land and water, and now space. Space exploration. However very dangerous. We know so much but in reality we know so little about space. Space exploration is also a very expensive thing to do. The question is, “ is space worth the huge hole in our wallet or is there anything else we could be using the money on for the greater good of our society”? Thursday, December 1, 2011. Bombadir beetles are a very unique bug. They are bugs with a strange defense mechanism. They are prey, so they need a way to defend themselves. The way they defend themselves is spitting out boiling acid from their bottoms. The acid kills the prey. One of the things that I find strange about this is how the beetle dose not burn themselves. This is what they look like. Here is a video talking about their defensive habit. Tuesday, May 17, 2011. In my science class we did a lab about motion. we were seeing how hard you had to blow on marbles for them to move. Me and my partner had no problem with that because they always moved. Guiding question- Does the mass of the marble affect how it moves? When given a force, what happens to it's motion? Hypothesis- I think that the smaller and lighter ball will move easier and faster. Data my partner and I got. Small marble- light breath- moved 10inches. Big marble- light breath - 22in.
