Roadkill White-crowned Sparrow | Regarding Nature

8230; sketched, inked and colored. It is an unfortunate thing when birds fly into the path of an oncoming vehicle. Rarely do they survive the collision. I have collected a few roadkills over the years and delivered them to the natural history museum in my county where they are prepared and placed in the collections drawer.
