PIC programming

How to build things like this. Getting Started with PICs. This PIC C programming tutorial will guide you to get a simple C program working on a PIC microcontroller, including setup of the programmer. The tutorial uses C programming with the Microchip C18 compiler, and the relatively newer PIC18F1320 chip. That chip has analog-to-digital converters, serial communications ability, and other nice peripherals. Anyway, here's a simple "hello world" type programming guide for PIC C programming:. Whistle-activated switch

How to build things like this. This device turns my bedroom ceiling light on or off when I whistle a steady tone. It lets me turn on the light before getting up in the morning, to help myself wake up. It also lets me read in bed at night and then turn off the light without getting up. The project was inspired when I read Atlas Shrugged. A few months ago and couldn't put it down. I liked the. Vehement anti-socialist arguments and the fact that the ideal man in the book is a tall electrical engineer. With ...

Prose to Poetry Converter

How to build things like this. Automated Prose to Poetry Conversion. This Python program parses text and tries to paraphrase it into rhyming lines. It does this by replacing words with rhyming synonyms, rearranging phrases, and deleting non-vital words. The project resources are below. (The program was my class project for Stanford's CS224U: Natural Language Understanding class in Spring 2013.). Presentation slides summarizing the algorithm (pdf). Find synonyms of a word (using WordNet and VerbNet).

Wednesday, July 8, 2009. Jenny and Alex's wedding. We had such an awesome weekend celebrating Auntie Jenny and Uncle Alex's wedding. June 27th was a special day for our family. We were both in the wedding party and Luke stole the show as the ring bearer. He was such a good boy all day! He loved his tuxedo and shiny shoes. He walked down the aisle all by himself. Here are a couple pictures from the big day. Uncle Rick and Aunt Cindy came for a visit from New Mexico! Saturday, June 6, 2009. Luke has really...

luke allendorph | Psalm 91:5-8

Anyways, this weekend has been interesting to say the least, but its been a great learning experience. The main thing that I learned in the last 3 days, ALWAYS be prepared. I’m not sure if this helped you at all, maybe it just confused you, in that case it must not have been meant for you and I am sorry about that, but I m very thankful if you are still reading this, and I appreciate that more than you could ever know. Thank you for your time and have a blessed day. On April 28, 2014 in Random Thinkings.
