We enjoyed riding rides, petting animals, watching performances, and most of all, eating carmel apples and fried potatoes! We had a great time! Thank you NJ for you generosity! My parents went to Austin to watch the UT game for Thanksgiving, so I was glad to have some of my side's traditional dishes for Thanksgiving even though we weren't actually celebrating with them. Luke's family really liked the Coke Salad, think that may be a new regular Thanksgiving appearance for them, too! Ok, more on that later I'm sure. Christmas is coming and I'm ready for it baby!

Saturday, June 25, 2011. A poopie day . . . with a great ending! Today, the plan was for productivity, joy, excitement, unity, bonding . . . We had to run some errands and then we would get to meet a brand new human being who was born into this world just yesterday. Our really good friends just had their second child, a son. Well, it didn't turn out that way. . . totally. Woke up . . . late. Dishes still in the sink. Behind already. Get them done. This can't be that hard. We are going to Panera Bread!

I discovered lice in C's hair. This is the first time, and I was crushed. This was to be her first day at gymnastics. Visions of working in the Medical Center with Uncle Martin and getting your GED and driver's license. Visions of you getting a great job and loving your work. The last few days have been marked with fevers, four sets of antibiotics two times a day, ibuprofen, lice shampoo treatments, washing EVERYTHING non-stop with hot water and drying those said items on hot, vacuuming tons, spraying down the house, meals, comforting, bloody noses, school . . . what? Today, we got some schooling done and it was our first day doing Sonlight. It was great. So far, it seems like a great fit. We'll see how it goes. I love you, my little sweeties....
