Tuesday, June 30, 2015. Time for a confession.this project has been finished for two weeks. I took photos but it was too late in the day and they turned out very dark. I took more pictures after work yesterday, but they turned out even worse so I'm back to the original too-dark photos. Anyway, I did finish the veneer. It took 55(ish) hours to install approximately 150 sq ft of veneer and cost about $300 in materials. Plus the stone dresses up the entire facade. When we bought the house. Back to the Front.

Saturday, November 01, 2014. Fall Project List - How Did We Do? In August Luke and I made some serious revisions to our remodeling plans. After delays caused by the concrete and my broken ankle we had to scale back our tasks. We identified six major projects that we wanted to tackle. But how did we do? Pour driveway and sidewalk. We spent thee years completely remodeling the house only to move away when school was finished. We fell in love with the four car garage. Getting a house with it was just an added bonus. The basement bathroom was the first room we finished. Compared to the upstairs bathroom this one was in pretty good shape. It least it was not covered in mold. We kept the tub but replaced everything else.. The kitchen was a mess when we moved in. There were no working appliances and the tile floor was badly cracked.
