I grew up in Flowery Branch, Georgia and now live in Portland, Oregon. I’ve also spent significant time living in Atlanta, Santa Fe, San Francisco, and the mountains. I am a PhD Candidate in the Department of Informatics at UC Irvine. Where I work with Melissa Mazmanian. My research is about the affects and experiences of life in early 21st century California. In 2014, I taught the human-computer interaction class. In 2013, I thru-hiked the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) with my partner, Luke a/k/a Pleats.
