Wednesday, 20 May 2015. The last few weeks have been very busy, often I set a time to write my blog, but it slips past me as more ‘things’ come up. The Empower Trauma Rehabilitation Program was a success, and we heard beautiful testimonies at the end of it all. Many of the young women who went through it, spoke of being able to let go of life long bitterness towards certain people in their past. Many girls found this part of the program a tremendous release. Agnes and Rachel do a great job together!

Friday, 20 March 2015. Just a quick update on life here on the ground. It is still very very hot, and it has not rained for at least 3 weeks now. I often find myself waking up with a headache, I think because it is always so muggy at night. I can’t wait till it rains, and it cools down a bit. It makes for good swimming weather though, but since we don’t have very close access to places for swimming (the lake near us has crocodiles in it) we don’t get to go much. We continue to run our programs here!

Wednesday, 10 December 2014. Just a quick one to let you know how everything is going. Preparations for Agnes' and I leaving have all been done. Farouk is all ready to help run things here while we away. It is good to know I have someone trustworthy and loyal like Farouk to help with everything. Last week the schoolies revolution guys came and visited the tailoring class, and the co-op girls came to join them as well. A great time was had with lots of dancing! They have been a great blessing in building a chicken coop, as well as helping finish the wall around the property. They also got to visit and meet the tailoring girls, and lots of dancing was done on both sides.
