Thursday, December 15, 2011. I used to live at Oyster Bay and always loved walking across Como Bridge, so I went back for a visit to take a few photos despite the threatening sky and the rain that came down not long after getting there. Hope you enjoy…. Posted by Jessica Stead. Links to this post. Simple things in life. Friday, December 2, 2011. Gunnamatta Bay, Cronulla. Ruby-Robin: Melbourne Street Art
http://ruby-robin.blogspot.com/2012/03/melbourne-street-art.html
Tuesday, March 27, 2012. I love Melbourne and I was lucky enough to head there for a weekend to take some shots around and about the place. I LOVED the graffiti in the alleyways even though it was a little hard to shoot in the pouring rain! Such an eclectic (and at times raunchy) mix of images…I hope you enjoy. Posted by Jessica Stead. Ruby-Robin: November 2010
http://ruby-robin.blogspot.com/2010_11_01_archive.html
Friday, November 26, 2010. Missing the South Coast. I recently went down the South Coast for a week and have been craving going back already. I love the South Coast. We started at Berry and tried a different cafe, ‘The Stuffed Olive,’ very cute and great coffee. My family have always had Boxer dogs so when I saw this little guy on the beach with his family, needless to say I was smitten. He was the cutest dog and so well behaved. He is going to be a big boy though, check out this paws! We spent a day at ...

Ruby-Robin: December 2010
http://ruby-robin.blogspot.com/2010_12_01_archive.html
Thursday, December 23, 2010. Oh so close…. I am feeling very excited about Christmas day, and it is certainly fast approaching. It has been a good year I have to say. It has been much better than the last few, so I feel that is reason enough to celebrate. I have enjoyed some lovely time catching up with friends over the past few weeks and today did a lunch for two very dear friends of mine and their gorgeous baby boy. I made chocolate mousse for dessert, one of my all time favourites. Links to this post.

Thursday, November 24, 2011. One of my favourite places to go on a nice day is Camellia Garden’s. I love the meandering pathways that lead to such beautiful surprises and colour. I say alot on this blog that I am always amazed by nature’s colours- the flowers and plants in the Garden’s are no different. I hope you enjoy…. Lol I love photography. Posted by Jessica Stead. Ruby-Robin: Bankstown
http://ruby-robin.blogspot.com/2012/04/bankstown.html
Thursday, April 19, 2012. I visit Bankstown pretty frequently now that my Nan is in a nursing home out that way. I love being the only Aussie wondering this street (aptly named Saigon Place) and having coffee in the cafes and checking out the grocery shops. I love all the different fruits in the Asian stores and love buying heaps of cheap Asian greens. The colours and textures are fascinating. Have a great weekend ox. Posted by Jessica Stead. Ruby-Robin: October 2010
http://ruby-robin.blogspot.com/2010_10_01_archive.html
Friday, October 22, 2010. Sydney Night Noodle Market. Last night I went into Hyde Park to enjoy the Sydney Night Noodle Market as part of the Sydney Food Festival. First I went to the art gallery and did some writing in the cafe there. It was such a stunning time of the day, late afternoon, and the walk from the gallery to Hyde Park was such a pleasure with all the old beautiful trees. The Art and About Festival was on, displaying photography through the Hyde Park walkway which was really good. The Night...

Thursday, September 22, 2011. Surprises in the City. These first few shots were taken during the day as I walked around the city enjoying Hyde Park.It was such a beautiful day. I was in the city to see Louise Hawson speak about her photography work ‘52 Suburbs’. And at the end of the talk someone called out my name and it was a friend I did honours with and then worked with at the Attorney General’s. It was great to see her after being out of touch for a while. I hope you enjoy these photos. The first th...

Ruby-Robin: Melbourne Food and Fun
http://ruby-robin.blogspot.com/2012/04/melbourne-food-and-fun.html
Thursday, April 12, 2012. Melbourne Food and Fun. We had a fantastic morning at the Queen Victoria markets checking out all the wonderful produce, I really wish we had the equivalent in Sydney. Such a great place to get wonderful seafood, meat, cheeses, chocolates, fruit and vegies all under one roof. We will need to go back for longer than a weekend next time so we can actually cook with some of the great food available. Gorgeous patisserie windows in St Kilda…mmm yum. Posted by Jessica Stead.
