CLICK HERE FOR THOUSANDS OF FREE BLOGGER TEMPLATES. Thursday, July 3, 2008. Here is a recipe that my family loves and is a breakfast favorite (and even supper sometimes too) ;). My mom and grandma both have made this since I was a little bitty kid. Don't tell my mom, but I like my grandma's better :). 1/2 cup butter, melted. In a skillet, mix: butter, flour, and cocoa. Add: sugar, milk, and vanilla. Cook on medium heat until thick, stirring often. Serve with hot biscuits. Posted by The Watermelon Patch.

The Watermelon Patch: Did You Know???
http://thewatermelonpatch.blogspot.com/2008/07/did-you-know.html
CLICK HERE FOR THOUSANDS OF FREE BLOGGER TEMPLATES. Wednesday, July 30, 2008. Peel a banana from the bottom and you won't have to pick the little 'stringy things' off of it. That's how the primates do it. Take your bananas apart when you get home from the store. If you leave them connected at the stem, they ripen faster. Store your opened chunks of cheese in aluminum foil. It will stay fresh much longer and not mold! Leftover snickers bars from Halloween make a delicious dessert. Simply chop them up ...

Life's A Garden, Bloom Where You're Planted: What Did You Expect?
http://lifeisagardenbloomwhereyouareplanted.blogspot.com/2011/11/what-did-you-expect.html
Wednesday, November 9, 2011. What Did You Expect? The failures we experience in life often plant seeds of doubt in our minds. What my less-than-optimistic gardening friend didn't realize about the death of her Kudzu plant those many years ago is that she probably did one. Don't we all have those areas? Isn't there at least one aspect of each of our lives where we doubt? Don't we all have at least one single facet of our beings where we simply don't expect much of anything? What was I going to do? From no...

Life's A Garden, Bloom Where You're Planted: August 2010
http://lifeisagardenbloomwhereyouareplanted.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 6, 2010. What's In A Name? I am a plant snob. At least thats what a friend of mine jokingly calls me. She calls me that because I often use the botanical names of plants, rather than the common names. Looking Through the Leaves. The window at my kitchen sink is the window that I look out more than any other window in my house. For the longest time, the view out of this window was probably the least attractive of any view from any other window. . Thursday, August 5, 2010. Whats In A Name?

Tuesday, May 24, 2011. Sunday, May 15, 2011. A Job Partially Done. We used to have a beautiful water garden, my husband and I. But recently we converted it into a planting bed. I dont know what kind of bed to call it, because it has yet to be planted. Eventually it may become a perennial bed, but as of this moment were still in the process of filling in the gaping hole that used to be a one-thousand-plus-gallon pond. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).
