The Cuspidor: Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow
http://thecuspidor.blogspot.com/2007/01/yesterday-today-tomorrow.html
The often cranky ramblings of a Southern expatriate living in Canada. Thursday, January 11, 2007. Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow. It’s a clear night and downtown. It’s January 11, 2007, and the good folks down at Immigration Canada are processing applications for permanent residency that they received on March 27, 2006. They received my application on April 9. And I’m hoping that they’ll process my application by the end of February. After all, I am getting a little bit bored. January 11, 2007 7:43 PM.

The Cuspidor: March 2005
http://thecuspidor.blogspot.com/2005_03_01_archive.html
The often cranky ramblings of a Southern expatriate living in Canada. Tuesday, March 29, 2005. Thursday, March 24, 2005. Yesterday was my brother's birthday. He's 36, which is quite a bit older than me, I'll have you know. Yes, we do have the same parents. Mom calls me her "bonus baby." I guess I was a bit of a surprise. Despite the large difference in age, I usually feel like the older sibling. My brother used to tease me about Case because I talked about him so much. Sunday, March 20, 2005. People alwa...

The often cranky ramblings of a Southern expatriate living in Canada. Monday, January 15, 2007. Hailing from a place with notoriously mild winters, I don't remember ever seeing this phenomenon in person before. Sooo.this is what a tree looks like when it's encased in ice. Actually it's quite pretty, besides the fact that it's interesting from a meteorological perspective. These are both from my yard. From Ice Storm 01-. From Ice Storm 01-. January 15, 2007 10:23 AM. The Cuspidor: Return to the Frozen Tundra
http://thecuspidor.blogspot.com/2006/11/return-to-frozen-tundra.html
The often cranky ramblings of a Southern expatriate living in Canada. Wednesday, November 15, 2006. Return to the Frozen Tundra. Whew That was a whirlwind week-and-a-half. I’m very popular when I go home now, which contradicts all other social situations throughout my life. Is basically the same except the traffic is even worse. I never got a moment to myself, but I wound up taking the back roads everywhere because I40 and Kingston Pike are so bad. I saw Running with Scissors. Wound up getting smashed on...

The Cuspidor: April 2005
http://thecuspidor.blogspot.com/2005_04_01_archive.html
The often cranky ramblings of a Southern expatriate living in Canada. Friday, April 29, 2005. The Results Are In. The results of the Big Yellow Controversy are in. Half of you made a write-in vote for Big Bird as a hermaphroditic and/or transsexual freak. Thanks guys. The other half think Big Bird is a guy, except for my father, who thinks that Big Bird's gender is irrelevent in the grand scheme of things. Trust my old man to put an existential spin on. Big Bird is a girl. I've come to realize that whate...

The Cuspidor: Sangria and Star Trek
http://thecuspidor.blogspot.com/2006/06/sangria-and-star-trek.html
The often cranky ramblings of a Southern expatriate living in Canada. Wednesday, June 21, 2006. Sangria and Star Trek. Yesterday, Lunger and I made a pitcher of Sangria with homemade wine and watched three episodes of. Star Trek: The Next Generation. In a row. Needless to say, we got a little tipsy. Despite our inebriation, we still couldn’t completely suspend our disbelief. 8220;When is that Tasha Yar chick going to die? Is it this episode? 8221; I asked, scowling at the television. 8220;I have no idea!
