Ian Coucher, the boss of Network Rail earns more than four times the Prime Minister’s salary and was quoted in the Times on 5th June 2010 saying that he is worth every penny of his 613,00 pa. I know the prime ministerial salary comparison is done to death and the PM rakes in the cash after his term of office – but even so.
