Soy originario de Tournus. Pueblo de Borgoña (Francia), famoso por sus viñas y por su abadía románica. Segundo de una familia de seis hijos, todos tocando un instrumento, elegi a los siete años tocar el violín, pero es desde mis primeros años que se me veía siempre con alguna herramienta en lamano . Todavía adolescente entro en la escuela de luthería Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume en Mirecourt. En 2004 abrí taller en Valencia con Julien Schneider. Esta colaboración duró hasta 2009.

El largo proceso de creación de un instrumento nuevo se desarrolla gracias a la experiencia personal, a la intuición, y sobre todo gracias a los músicos que siempre saben guiarme en mis peregrinaciones. Cuando fabrico un instrumento me inspiro de los luthieres antiguos principalment italianos del s.XVIII y franceses del s.XVIII y XIX. Estos luthieres (que han desarrollado el cuarteto a su perfección sonora y estética) me llevan a una constante búsqueda.

Mi taller esta situado en un cuarto piso de una casa antigua del barrio historico. Este lugar, poco comercial, tiene muchas ventajas como una luz perfecta para trabajar en los barnizes, la tranquilidad, el silencio, un espacio pequeño pero acojedor para trabajar y un salón para que los músicos puedan probar los instrumentos. Recibo todos los músicos atentamente, que sean principiantes, estudiantes o profesionales que toquen música clasica, jazz o música tradicional, tomando el tiempo de escucharlos.
