Sunday, 1 April 2012. Sydney GSE 2012 Last Day: Goodbye to some friends. There were tears at the airport today (not from me as I don't tend to get emotional in public) as Nikki and Cheryl jetted off back home to the UK. Very sad - it's odd to spend pretty much an entire month in someone's company and then have to say goodbye. Andy and Emma also flew off but up to Cairns for a visit to the Great Barrier Reef and then onto Uluru before heading back to Sydney to fly home next week. I'm also now very much op...

Lutonnewssteve: Sydney GSE 2012 Day Twenty Five: Time to say goodbye

http://www.lutonnewssteve.blogspot.com/2012/03/sydney-gse-2012-day-twenty-five-time-to.html

Wednesday, 28 March 2012. Sydney GSE 2012 Day Twenty Five: Time to say goodbye. Tonight was tinged with a little sadness as we had to say a final goodbye to a lot of the kind and wonderful people we've met during our stay in Australia at our farewell dinner. For these people have given up so much of their precious time and spent a fortune meticulously planning our stay and ensuring that it has been fantastic - something that will stay with us all forever - and will ultimately benefit us on our career path.

http://www.lutonnewssteve.blogspot.com/2012/04/sydney-gse-day-twenty-six-hills-paper.html

Sunday, 1 April 2012. Sydney GSE Day Twenty Six: The Hills paper. Today was our last vocational day and our last presentation as well with a ridiculously early start for another breakfast meeting - I won't miss those that's for sure. I was a hell of a lot better presenting this morning, I guess the pressure was off and I was more relaxed - atoned for last night I think, even though everyone said I was fine anyway. I was slightly sad this evening as I had to pack up my stuff ready to leave my final host h...

Lutonnewssteve: Sydney GSE 2012 Day Twenty Seven: Final full day!

http://www.lutonnewssteve.blogspot.com/2012/04/sydney-gse-2012-day-twenty-seven-final.html

Sunday, 1 April 2012. Sydney GSE 2012 Day Twenty Seven: Final full day! This morning was something of a mad panic. We were supposed to be at a Maccy D's about twenty minutes away at 8am to go to a sheep ranch (very random I know)- but the best laid plans and all that went awry after Tony's car had a flat tyre. Anyway, we finally made the sheep ranch where we were taught by a horse riding ranch hand called Geoff how to crack whips and throw boomerangs. This place, and its staff and students, was just incr...
