Tell me how? | FEELING OF LIFE
http://danielfeeling.blogspot.com/2010/08/tell-me-how.html
Tuesday, August 10, 2010. There is a reason why some people prefer to do things alone, including staying alone, or at least have a room of their own. That's because if you have a partner, they could be annoying! Oh, I was talking about me. And there's somebody who needs to sleep! That was two days ago, and thankfully, I slept tight that night. I thought I finally successfully talked some senses into them! Then three red crosses appear like the ones in Britain's got talent and tell me: WRONG! A hospital b...

Sarah Megginson: blue sky mine
http://sarahmegginson.blogspot.com/2012/06/blue-sky-mine.html
In the course of researching an article tonight for work, I ended up reading a little about the town of Wittenoom. It's site of "the world's greatest industrial disaster. And the inspiration behind the Midnight Oils song, "Blue Sky Mine". Firstly, it made me really nostalgic. I remember watching the song's fabulous film clip (below), along with other 90s chart-toppers like "Remember the Time". By Michael Jackson, and "Stay". Without a care in the world! Sarah Megginson: keep calm and...
http://sarahmegginson.blogspot.com/2012/06/keep-calm-and.html
You know those 'Keep Calm and Carry On' posters? I was first introduced to them through our friends Bindi and Simon, years ago – they had an original print, framed in a beautiful big, old, chunky gold frame, mounted on their impossibly cool wall of artworks and knicknacks in their impossibly cool inner-city pad in Sydney. I thought it was fabulous. These days, the posters are kind of everywhere, along with dozens of witty knock offs. Like 'Keep Calm and Eat Cake'. This one seems to sum it up nicely.

Sarah Megginson: diamonds are forever
http://sarahmegginson.blogspot.com/2012/10/diamonds-are-forever.html
I may be a little behind the 8-ball here, but I just learnt that engagement rings didn't always sparkle with rare, glittery diamonds. I think that's remarkable. Also remarkable - Steve Hayden! Subscribe...
