LEAVES OF GRACE: Be Silent, Listen!
http://leavesofgrace.blogspot.com/2015/05/be-silent-listen.html
Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Be Silent, Listen! Silent and listen have exactly the same letters. One is an anagram of the other. Not only are they inter-related, they are also inter-dependent. One can’t listen without first being silent. When there is so much noise outside and inside of us, we can’t hear what another person is saying or feeling. Worse, we can’t hear God. Reading the Bible is another. The Bible is one of the ways through which He speaks to us. We must be silent before we can listen. We must lea...

LEAVES OF GRACE: A Fascinating Fan
http://leavesofgrace.blogspot.com/2015/08/a-fascinating-fan.html
Thursday, August 6, 2015. The text message surprised me. It came from a name (let’s call her Eve) I could hardly recall. But her words were intriguing. Anything that has to do with my books gets my attention. 8220;My only grandson, Rafa, is a fan of your children’s books. He wants to meet Grace D. Chong [how I'm called by my young readers].” Eve also reminded me we stayed in the same dorm in college. That was a million years ago; how on earth could she remember? Rafa’s parents and Eve have been rea...

what's going on?: May 2008
http://songbearer.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Friday, 23 May 2008. Wow, i'm checking out my blog! I'm killing time while waiting for a text message from my wife. Last I visited (and wrote - ok, blogged) my blog was February.well. The disadvantages of not having your own pc? Or no time to blog? I actually have three 'articles' written in a notebook at home that I planned to transfer here, but that was months ago. I'm not even sure what those articles were about. But, yes, time flies fast when you don't have a watch with you. Or a pc.

what's going on?: mrt woes
http://songbearer.blogspot.com/2008/08/mrt-woes.html
Thursday, 21 August 2008. Woe is me.I take the MRT! That was not poetry, just sheer rant. Reports say that the MRT and LRT have reached their full capacity.more, maybe out of desperation, are taking the MRT than that boxy thing we call 'bus' (pero marami nang magandang bus, ha). Do I have the right to rant? Ang sikip, grab. When you get off, you don't feel inspired to work anymore.like you've had a full day of stressful work and all you want to do is go home and sleep! I haven't started work yet!

Friday, 29 August 2008. Had some time to play with the features in Blogger. The above picture was taken from Pearl Farm in Davao. Beautiful place. Some friends have been ribbing me for not trying out the swimming pool. Hehe! Next time, Lord-willing, we'll try the pool. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Quezon City, Philippines. Ambot sa imong lobot. ayawg pangutot para walay gubot. Ang resulta sa pag tanga-tanga ug duka-duka. Monday, July 16, 2007. Hk-china experience part 1. The cab drivers in china are a lot like the filipino taxi drivers. they too refuse to give you a ride if your destination is far and inconvenient. most of the cabs there are old volkswagen sedans. but i think they are generally worse drivers than pinoys. they park anywhere and drive through any passable road. The highlight of the china experience was the l...
