Sunday, March 30, 2008. The Maniac Is Back! I can add more detail if anyone might be interested in running this race in the future, I don't think I'll be adding it to my conquests to repeat, at least for a while. But it is certainly a fun race and scenic. Posted by Randy - Maniac #788. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Back of the ...

Danny's Excellent Adventures: January 2011
http://dvalen.blogspot.com/2011_01_01_archive.html
Thursday, January 13, 2011. 2011 Goofy Marathon Challenge. I started the year with the Walt Disney Marathon, the Goofy challenge, which consists of running a Half marathon 13.1 miles on Saturday and a full marathon 26.2 on Sunday. Even though I did absolutely no training whatsoever. I had no cramping or soreness not even days afterwards. Muscle memory in action. Now what I need to do is to actually train for a marathon. I will later post more of my marathons that I am planning to do this year. 10 - 2007 ...

Danny's Excellent Adventures: September 2011
http://dvalen.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 20, 2011. Question mark by Marco Bellucci. As I sit here in my computer room here at home, I wonder what I have done this year? Where have I gone this year? What awesome place have I gone to? The answer, absolutely nowhere and nothing. For a lot of you who knows me this is very unlike me. I am usually out somewhere in the world either running a marathon, cycling to somewhere or hiking, camping somewhere. None of that happened this year. I ask myself, why? What is going on? There will b...

Saturday, July 26, 2008. Here are some long overdue pictures that were taken when me and the hubby were up in Oregon for the Eugene 1/2 Marathon back in May. We had a grand old time and leaving was definitely such sweet sorrow! It's time to pick up our packets! In front of the famous Hayward Field. We snickered at there t-shirt statements. Very clever! We walked over to the starting line from our hotel. It was only a 1/2 mile and super exciting to see the green balloons and all those people! 08/10 - ARR ...

Gotta Push For 9s.: Eugene
http://gottapushfor9s.blogspot.com/2008/05/eugene.html
Tuesday, May 6, 2008. I've been really busy lately! Lots of traveling for work had me in San Francisco and Denver recently. When I'm in the office, I've been pre-occupied with coordinating a training and getting ready to renew some grants that I hardly have a life. I ran Eugene. Not the full. I did the 1/2. I had the best time in Oregon as the hubby and I made a 5-day journey out of the whole thing. Hope to have a race report up within the week. Hey, hopefully I will finally meet you at the summer 5ks!
