Thursday, July 16, 2015. First half of June. Emma's teacher asked that Emma stay home for the "Field day" morning because there was a high risk in her lip getting bumped.tug-o-war and such. So we took a little trip to Krispy Kreme to make up for it :). Emma and her best friend Briana on the school family picnic day (and last day of school). Monday, March 23, 2015. One of Emma's friends, Abby, is taking ice-skating lessons, and on their last week, they could invite four friends for a free little ice-skating lesson and skate. It was Emma's first time, and she was really excited, until she got out there and fell. Good thing they had these scooters, or quite a few of the kids would have given up. Once she had the scooter, she was back to having fun again. I love when kids start drawing little people! A few of the other notes:. You turn me on!

Wednesday, July 1, 2015. Lucas LOVES the dishwasher. If he hears me open it, he immediately stops what he's doing and speed crawls until he's got handfuls of silverware and plates (plastic) crashing to the floor. Right before I start it, I'll grab all the things he's thrown to the ground, throw them all in, and shut it. Instant tears. Breaks his poor little heart every time. Lucas's first ride in a shopping car. And my sweet little baby turning into a trouble maker. Settler's Park splash pad!

Thursday, July 2, 2015. Emma made it to a whoppin' seven years old before needing stitches! Emma got laughing gas, two shots, five stitches, and by about 9pm we were finally home. Her poor lip was about triple in size. Ouch. She was super brave the whole time, and I'm sure it was pretty painful. Monday, June 29, 2015. Although I don't have many pictures of the event (hopefully will get some from Aaron who had a go-pro), it was super fun! I went with my sister Angela, her family, and some of her friends. Our team was Rapid Thigh Movement. It was a bunch of bouncy house obstacles/slides with a lot of running in between (that some of us may or may not have skipped a bit of. while also doing some of the obstacles two or three times.) It felt like being a kid again, and I loved it :). May 1, 2015.

Monday, February 23, 2015. From the second Emma's 6th birthday ended, she's been telling me that her 7th birthday was going to be a Frozen theme. (I'm not joking, the very second all her friends were gone, and for the entire year.) That is right up until a week before her birthday, she decides she wants it to to be a dragon party. what?
