November 3, 2009. 4 Square Knitted Preemie Blanket Pattern. Since I will be attempting to organize a Greyson's. Charity locally, I figured why not come up with a super easy pattern to knit up a Preemie. Sized baby blanket. Here it is:. This pattern is for a 12 inch premie. Lion Brand Cotton Ease. Yarn in White, 1 skein (or any other yarn with same gauge). Size 8 knitting needles. Cast On 60 stitches. Knit 4 rows. Rows 5-40: knit 30 stitches, purl 27 stitches, knit 3 stitches. August 19, 2013. Sadly, I have decided that Mystery Quilts are just not for me. This cutting of 200 two-inch squares is for the birds. I feel like I am doing the same exact thing. Over and over and over and over. This pattern calls for about 96 - 1 1/2 in half square triangles, and about 100 rectangles with 2 inch squares sewn to both sides. I am determined to finish this quilt top this month! It has, sadly, been my goal for my UFO challenge for the last 3 months. 3 MONTHS! Do you have a Featherweight?
