Welcome to lydia may creates. Thursday, July 30, 2015. Belgian Pearl Sugar Waffles. We live in Utah and in Northern Utah there is a craze for waffle trucks that make waffles with pearl sugar. We've gone to the waffle luv. The recipe calls for yeast and a good 3 hour rise. After the dough is ready we mixed in the pearl sugar. The batch of dough made about 12 balls of dough. After the waffle iron was good and hot and had been sprayed well, we cooked waffles! Fun things to do. July 30, 2015 at 12:35 PM.
