not so random thoughts: Information Vs. Transformation
http://jsteg.blogspot.com/2012/06/information-vs-transformation.html
Not so random thoughts. Monday, June 25, 2012. Information Vs. Transformation. About a month or two ago I was rocked with a statement that stunned me into a deep thought process in which I fully examined my current method of operation against that statement. After a couple months of reflection, discussion, and adaptation, I think that I have begun the process of being aware of the statement. The statement was as follows. not so random thoughts: Craigslist Shenanigans
http://jsteg.blogspot.com/2012/06/craigslist-shenanigans.html
Not so random thoughts. Wednesday, June 20, 2012. I have always been skeptical of Craigslist, and after my first six encounters on Craigslist I realized that I should probably remain skeptical about Craigslist. I think it is a great tool if used correctly. I want to share the stories of my first six encounters because they are fun and interesting. This has turned into a very long post and I would be very surprised if anyone has made it all the way down to this sentence. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

not so random thoughts: October 2010

Not so random thoughts. Wednesday, October 27, 2010. Top 3 (By Lydia) - Songs. On this edition of Top 3 I will be sharing Lydia's current favorite and most requested songs. 3 Old Mcdonald Had a Farm - Ella Fitzgerald. This is a super swingin version of the song. Lydia has always liked this song, but when I showed her this version from the cd "Jazz for Kids" that we got from the library, she dances and giggles to the fast pace. It is fun to watch her listen to this song. I should video tape it. My medium ...

not so random thoughts: March 2012
http://jsteg.blogspot.com/2012_03_01_archive.html
Not so random thoughts. Wednesday, March 7, 2012. Top 3 - Artists you should be listening to. 3 James Vincent McMorrow - This Irish singer songwriter has the falsetto voice like Bon Iver, but more soulful with better melodies. He also has better meaningful heartfelt songs than "the head and the heart" whom I call, "all head and heartless". Honorable Mention - The Staves, St. Vincent. Bottom Line - Music can be saved if we put the computers away. Links to this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The Zone of Zakness: Beautiful Contrast
http://thezoneofzakness.blogspot.com/2009/05/beautiful-contrast.html
The Zone of Zakness. Tuesday, May 26, 2009. I had an interesting revelation tonight while riding with Kris. It was nothing groundbreaking or anything innovative but a rather common thing. I was thinking about Moses when he was in the cave and God was telling him that he would go to Pharaoh to command God's people be freed. Of course Moses totally dodged it and thought God had the wrong guy because he stuttered when he spoke. This is how I see God in my everyday life. This is our God. The Zone of Zakness.
