Monday, June 23, 2008. We just finished our second week in Maewang. Wow, the time is flying by. I am trying to journal and get everything down but so much is happening that it is impossible to capture it all in either pictures or journal entries. Thursday, October 23, 2008. I finally feel mostly well! I have just come out of 2 sicknesses back to back over a period of 2 weeks! This part of Thailand has not been too fun.catching about every common cold or flu. This is my second time to get both a bad cold/sore throat as well as my second time to catch the stomach flu. Our teaching term finished at the university, internet went out (so no updates), we continued teaching out in the village and then at Baan Kanoon (our townhouse). Monday, September 1, 2008. Saraphee.so much has happened at this school. Yes we have played just about every English game with the kids. They love elbow tag. They are fast. I find that running in black heels is not as easy as it looks. Then you make a silly face or mimic their silly faces and they laugh hysterically at you. Like little Ming is doing here. I am so excited to go home, I have not been home since Christmas and I have been missin the fam a lot lately. Here are the goals I have set for myself for the break:. Spend qaulity time with the fam. Get ahead in my classes (ok, maybe just caught up). Get my hair cut :). Meditate on God's word. Possibly have a job interview. Spend some qaulity time in prayer.
