Haus sans: a lowercase typeface. This was a speedy month-long project to design a typeface. haus sans is inspired by the structure of Gill-sans. I took an approach that incorporates a more angular but influenced by the hand feeling in the letterforms. It consists of only 26 san-serif book weight lowercase letters. 100 iterations of a Toro. This project was for 100 interations of an object to be created in 2 and a half weeks. Each iteration had to different from every other iteration created prior to it. I chose small ceramic tōrō that I recieved while Studying abroad in Tokyo. A tōrō is a traditional lantern made of stone, wood, or metal used to light up Japanese temples.
