A Mother's Journey Through Chronic Lyme Disease. Month #1 A Success! Month # 2 A Success, onto Month #3 →. July 29, 2012. She has bad herx reactions when treating. herx. The medications they put her on to help her body prepare for this treatment are working. Working so much so that at times I wonder if she really needs the IV. I know she does. But I wonder. I think that is fear talking. I am also so afraid! What if it doesn’t work? What if I run out of money before she is finished? And tagged Lyme disease.
