My journey back to health. A blog about my "side-trip" through treatment for non-Hodgkins lymphoma. Wednesday, April 22, 2009. Drinking wine is good for NHL! Http:/ www.genengnews.com/news/bnitem print.aspx? This study was the first to examine the link among patients with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Han and her colleagues analyzed data about 546 women with non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. Couldn't resist posting this when I read about it on one of the NHL boards! Lately I've been going to have my monthly IV-IG infusi...

My journey back to health. A blog about my "side-trip" through treatment for non-Hodgkins lymphoma. Monday, February 9, 2009. New month new problem! But I am smiling! Well, that's not quite true - I think I caught this cold at the end of last month, not February! But whatever - I caught a cold from someone (and don't think I don't know who you are! And apart from the general 'wrongness' of geting a cold in the middle of summer! It gradually went to my chest (of course! He changed the antibiotics I'm on, ...
My journey back to health: July 2009
http://lymphomajourney.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
My journey back to health. A blog about my "side-trip" through treatment for non-Hodgkins lymphoma. Wednesday, July 8, 2009. I'm so happy - today I had my annual CT scans and they came back clear! I don't have to have another one for 12 months - unless of course something else shows up. I was reasonably confident that nothing would show up, but of course I was feeling fine when I was first diagnosed so that isn't really an accurate measure! This is some of the results:. Haemoglobin - 120 g/L. Now that I'...

My journey back to health. A blog about my "side-trip" through treatment for non-Hodgkins lymphoma. Friday, December 19, 2008. It wasn't so bad! So, I had the first gammaglubulin infusion (IVIG) today, and apart from the fact that I had to get up at 5.15am to get to the hospital for 7am, it wasn't that bad really! The flow rate get getting raised with no problems! And sitting in the day chemo room is a really interesting experience! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I wanted to be able to, if not 'clos...

My journey back to health. A blog about my "side-trip" through treatment for non-Hodgkins lymphoma. Monday, September 13, 2010. Stem Cell collection update . and blog hiatus. I have pretty much put this blog to sleep as far as posting goes. I may resurrect it in the future if necessary (though of course I hope never to have to! That's how it's been for me. Yes there are the odd health issues/things I have to deal with, but I love my life and feel very positive about it continuing a long and good time!

First CT Scan comes out good. January 18, 2013 at 4:33 am · Filed under Post Treatment. I am back with a new post after a while. The first CT scan after treatment has come out good. The residual tumour shrunk in size during the past few months. The blood counts are normal as well. I am scheduled for a six months visit now which would be a usual blood test. The doctor would CT scan me after a year again and probably that would be the last scan. First three monthly visit. The next visit is in January.

Lymphoma & Lauren
Friday, 21 May 2010. Last Chemo/CT Scan/PET Scan.REMISSION! As you can see from the title of this blog.very good news! But I'll start from the beginning.
