Enjoy the little things - you may look back and realize they were big things. Sunday, November 21, 2010. November 21 - 25, 2010. Had the annual 1st Grade Thanksgiving Program at school this week. The sang some silly songs, did a great job and then got to share in a Thanksgiving feast with their friends. Even had the opportunity to hand the camera over to my dad. To get a family picture for a change. What's Thanksgiving without the wishbone? A cute group out young ladies wouldn't you say? A great weekend ...

Enjoy the little things - you may look back and realize they were big things. Tuesday, August 31, 2010. August 31, 2010. Fire in the Woods. The fire was pretty much out, so Chief Bob and Chief Alan very graciously spent the next hour and a half answering every question that Sam could come up with. He got to try on Chief Bob's fire gear, climb on the fire trucks and everything. It was quite an experience and I have no pictures to remember it by. Matea and Sam had a great time in the sand. August 29, 2010.

Our little fireman posing for a picture. As luck would have it, fireman Sam was the flag holder today. Thought this was a cool picture with a fireman and our flag. Friday afternoon brought parties for the bigger kids and the annual Halloween parade through downtown Ravenna. Here is Allison and her class before the parade.

Enjoy the little things - you may look back and realize they were big things. Saturday, July 31, 2010. July 31, 2010. Today was pretty much a relaxing day of miscellaneous activities but nothing specific going on. You have to have some of those when your on vacation right? I thought it was quite cute how the kids pulled up their chairs and sat watching Paul chop some fire wood. You'd think they had to purchase tickets for the performance. A picture is worth a thousand words right? Friday, July 30, 2010.

Enjoy the little things - you may look back and realize they were big things. Wednesday, May 11, 2011. December 4, 2010. A couple of weeks ago, Paul found a Lego Advent Calendar that he thought would be fun to do in the days leading up to Christmas. He ordered it, and it arrived today. The box contains little windows containing a small lego character. We received the package a few days late - but it worked out perfectly, because each of the kids got to open a window tonight to get us caught up.

Enjoy the little things - you may look back and realize they were big things. Monday, May 31, 2010. May 27-31, 2010. Hartwick Pines State Park. There are a lot of pictures here because we did a lot of different things and I couldn't decide what to leave out. Our campsite on the outer loop, nice and private. With a wooded area behind us for the kids to play. Getting ready to explore the bike trail just outside the park entrance. One of the lakes. Sam decided to fill his bucket with water from the river.
