Run Now and Wine Later. Just a father and a daughter racing everything. How’d these get here? When it’s just too dang cold to go outside! December 1, 2015. Looking for a winter workout on those days that it is just too cold to go outside? Lately when the alarm goes off at 5am it’s been about 30 degrees outside. Monday, June 9, 2014. TSFM Week 10 and SRM Week 5. Plan: 3 miles easy w/ 3 strides. Actual: rest. Plan: 8 miles hills. Actual: 7.7 miles on the track with 8x800 repeats. My 800s were slightly slower than what they should have been for a 3:30 marathon, but I stayed with the pack and ran consistently each repeat. Plan: 5 miles easy (8:43 pace).
